How to measure your dog

How to Measure Your Dog
Back Length – This is the most important measurement for finding the right size. Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail.
Chest Circumference – Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.
Neck Circumference – Measure around the thickest part of the neck, where the collar naturally rests.
👉 Tip: Always measure while your dog is standing and leave a little room for comfort.
This fleece is designed to fit a harness underneath. If your dog is between sizes, consider whether you want a snug or loose fit depending on how you plan to use the fleece. For a midlayer under another coat, a snug fit works best. If it’s the only coat, we recommend choosing the larger size—looser fit means extra warmth.
.More Tips:
- Use a soft measuring tape or a yarn and a ruler.
- Ensure the tape is snug but not tight.
- Compare your measurements to the size chart provided on the product page. ( Notice that each product uses their own size chart )
- When choosing the right fleece for your dog, back length plays the most important part.
